From 02-06 November 2015, the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with various partners, is organising the Caribbean-Pacific Agri-Food Forum in St Michael, Barbados. To promote the event, its sessions, key messages and outcomes, CTA has supported a team of young social reporters to cover the event online.
After launching a call, over 100 applications were received, and a team of over 80 social reporters were selected. The on-site team who will be reporting from Barbados is comprised of 15 youths from the Caribbean and Pacific, and the larger online team is comprised of over 60 youths from different African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.
